Made for More Coaching
At Made for More Coaching, I walk with adults who feel stuck in cycles of emotional eating, bingeing, chronic dieting, body shame, and food obsession. I understand these battles because I lived them. My weight climbed over 420 pounds and my health collapsed. I could barely walk without pain. My blood pressure was dangerously high even while taking four medications. My diabetes was out of control and my A1C reached 11. My cholesterol was elevated, my energy was gone, I was not even 40 years old yet but I felt like I could die at any moment. Shame, fear, and exhaustion ruled my life until, at 37, I surrendered food to Jesus and everything changed. God healed the emotional wounds driving my patterns, broke addiction, restored my identity, and helped me lose more than 200 pounds through His power, not my striving.
My name is Christina Chapman. I am a Certified Life Coach with training in trauma informed care, recovery work, and whole person wellness. I combine biblical truth, emotional awareness, mindset renewal, and practical recovery tools to help you uncover the roots of your food struggles and walk step by step into freedom.
This coaching is not about dieting or perfection. It is a Christ centered partnership where healing becomes possible, shame loses its grip, and you begin to see yourself the way God sees you. You were created for more than survival. You were created for peace, confidence, and lasting transformation through Christ.

The Connection Between Emotional Abuse and Food Related Struggles
Emotional abuse often leaves a person living in survival mode, and food can become a quick way to find comfort, control, or relief. Bingeing, restricting, obsessing, or hiding food is not a weakness. It is often a coping strategy rooted in shame, fear, and unmet emotional needs. Healing begins when we stop fighting food alone and start addressing the deeper wound underneath. With safe support and Christ at the center, freedom is possible, and it can reach deeper than the plate.

Healing Does Not Just Happen: How to Seek It on Purpose
Healing does not just happen, it is something we have to seek. This short faith based guide shares why we stay stuck and five practical steps to pursue healing on purpose, especially in food and body image recovery.

Emotional Journaling vs Food Journaling
Food journals track what you eat, but emotional journals reveal why you eat. If food has become a coping tool rather than nourishment, healing does not start on the plate. It starts in the heart.
What Life Coaching is and is not....
Life Coaching is:
Future Focused: Christian life coaching helps you clarify where you are now, where God is leading you, and the steps needed to get there. It is about vision, purpose, and growth rather than dwelling on the past.
Action Oriented: Faith-based coaching provides biblical tools, encouragement, and accountability to help you take practical steps toward your goals. You will create an action plan that leads to real transformation in everyday life.
Empowering: A Christ-centered coach walks beside you to help you uncover your strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and build confidence through God’s truth. Coaching empowers you to live with purpose and renewed faith.
Christ-Centered (at Made for More): Coaching at Made for More is grounded in Scripture and guided by biblical principles. Each session helps you align your mindset, habits, and goals with God’s purpose for your life.
Safe and Supportive: Faith-based life coaching provides a compassionate, judgment-free space to process struggles, set goals, and discover new possibilities with the guidance of Christ. You are never alone on this journey.
Life Coaching is not:
Therapy or Counseling: Christian life coaching is not mental health therapy or counseling. It does not diagnose, treat, or heal mental health conditions. If you need emotional or psychological treatment, you should seek help from a licensed therapist or counselor.
Consulting: Faith-based coaching is different from consulting. A coach does not simply tell you what to do or provide all the answers. Instead, coaching helps you explore options, clarify goals, and make Christ-centered decisions that fit your unique calling.
Mentoring: Life coaching is not mentoring. A mentor teaches from personal experience, while a coach helps you discover your own path forward. Christian coaching focuses on helping you hear God’s voice and move confidently in the direction He leads.
A Quick Fix: Coaching is not a shortcut to instant results. Transformation takes time, prayer, and consistent growth. Through biblical truth and practical application, Christian coaching helps you develop habits that create lasting change.
Medical or Nutritional Advice: Life coaching does not replace professional medical or nutritional guidance. Always consult your doctor, therapist, or registered dietitian for health-related concerns. Coaching focuses on mindset, spiritual growth, and emotional renewal through faith.
